Horrible customer service. Didn’t know who our server even was at all. Food has very little to zero taste. If you are looking for a sit down restaurant with the kids, I would recommend not going to Dongpo.

Ok food reasonable prices I recommend the cucumber salad it’s really good.... other than that stay away from spicy chicken it’s really dry and it makes your mouth feel horrible and it’s more dried chili than chicken.Really good service though.

The food here was awful. I ordered my meal, a meal that should have taken time to make. Instead the meal came out in 3 min and was lukewarm. It taste as if they just heated the food up in a microwave and none of the ingredients were fresh. For such an expensive meal I expect to have food that taste good and that's fresh. Would not recommend eating here the place is highly overrated.

*Nice seat*Good sevice *Bacon Broccoli is yummy. Recommend!*Pork dumpling too crunchy & hard. It hurt my gum a bit.*Deep fired bun just okay*Pucking duck disappointed. Personally, I don’t like the favors of the baby duck, and I prefer the sauce is sweet.*Dan Dan noodle just okay.

I walked in around 1:30pm on a Thursday, and so there were only a few people. At first I was hesitated because of the negative reviews, but I was glad that I tried this restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious, nothing like Panda Express. You do need to know what you want. My Dad and I ordered Wonton soup ( filling was chicken), fried vegetable rice and sauteed sweet pea leaves ( the best greens you can find). Well, the pea leaves can be a little more tender, but I am happy with it. The service was quite good, probably because there were not many people.

Very well kept and accessible place. They provide large meals and for fair rates. I loved the food a lot and the waiters were very amiable and explanatory. Recommended.

Nice location and building. I enjoyed the ambience it was very relaxing after a long day at Universal Studios. Was not packed the service was attentive. The only issue I had was that they could not do individual checks for everybody at the table which was an inconvenience. The food was good I ordered the beef dan dan noodles and chicken potstickers. But it was nothing special. Seems to be on par with the other food establishments at the universal walk. Overall, if you are looking for some pretty good Chinese food close to the theme park than this won't disappoint but if you expect anymore than you're better off finding a nice joint in downtown LA.

If you crave for Chinese foods near Universal Studio, you can try out this restaurant. Foods are nice, just the fried rice a bit hard and tasteless. Overall experience is good.Foods : 3 starsEnvironment: 3 d starsValue for money : 3 stars

This is located at the city walk around Universal Studios. I was impressed by the promptness in the food appeared on the table steaming hot and fresh. The waiters were very courteous and professional. The environment was clean and inviting.

Had the duck sliders, potstickers, pork buns, Mongolian beef, and wonton soup. Price wasn't bad, service was excellent, however the food just wasn't that good and lacked flavor. Wonton soup and Mongolian beef were the best out of the lot.

Not the true authentic Chinese Food I was expecting. Food was overpriced for a quality that Panda Express can do better. I don’t recommend the spicy chicken. 🌶 Pork buns were bland and not tasty with flavor either.

Pork was cooked well but laden with bones along one ridge and inside some of the cuts. Pork buns were delivered so quickly after ordering we knew they were sitting their before we ordered them. Deep fried buns were good but not something Id order again. Fried rice was perfection. So there you have it, mixed reviews but overall decent which is why I gove it 4 stars.Bathrooms were clean enough and the decor is amazing. Service was a bit odd, no real communication after ordering and they just deliver the food when its ready instead of holding back for a few minutes.I think next time we will try the sushi place just a couple of doors down. Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Tried a lot of Dongpo in China, this one is not bad compared with other Chinese restaurant in LA, though is not as good as authentic Dongpo in the China. A little bit too salty and not spicy at all, May be more suitable for Americans. BTW the duck noodles were okay!

The Chinese food is nice. Location is perfect. Not so crowded. The waitress here is helpful, and the environment is superior. I like the duck stuff, and the noodle is just great. The average cost is about 10$ per person. That is a bargain , thinking about the pizza cost almost the same.
